Brood Mares

Doris, as she is known around the barn, is an almost 17hh, Hannovarian chestnut mare with a quiet, easy going attitude and who is a wonderful mother. Born in Germany, she was one of two mares selected by Marjy at six months of age. Brought to the US, she was presented and approved by Hannovarian and ISR for breeding. Our foundation mare, you'll see her fabulous bloodlines in almost all our horses.

W. Ostern Stern

Daughter of Tyra and full sister to Witzbold André. With "Easter" having such outstanding confirmation, movement, and temperament, she was choosen as a brood mare. She has confirmed that decision - she inherited supreme mothering skills from her mother plus passing her wonderful attributes to her progeny.

The superior German Stallion, Furioso II, is Genny's grand-sire. This is evident when you see her under-saddle in her smooth, flowing strides, almost like riding a cloud. She consistently passes this trait, along with her calm, willing-to-work temperament, to her foals.

Galobrielle Rebel

Brie's sire, Galoubet A, has rewritten the record books. In Europe over 50% of his first 2 crops are Grand Prix jumpers. Over 20% are international jumpers. Either 1st or 2nd in 19 international Grand Prix and one of the most popular show jumpers of his time. Brie's great-grandsire on her Dam's side is the well known Furioso II.
